Provided they’re both in the spirit world, and if you’ve had more than one husband, the one you feel closest with will likely be the first to greet you. But if you feel equally comfortable with both, then they might both come to see you at the same time. We must keep in mind that there is no jealousy or competitiveness on the spiritual plane. As spirits, your first and second husbands—as well as your third, fourth and fifth, if that were the case—would all feel a kinship together because of their love for you. Jealousy and competitiveness are human emotions and are not felt by spirits.
There are no hard and fast rules here, but spirits who have communicated through mediums and people who have had near-death experiences have all indicated that our transition back home to the spirit world is designed to make us feel safe and joyful. So if you don’t want to see one husband because of some bad energy between you on the physical plane, that husband is not going to burden you with his presence upon your return home. Later, after you have settled back into your spiritual existence (and only when you are ready), you and that former husband can work on healing those negative memories. But it won’t happen until it’s something that you want and choose to do.
