Reclaim Your Divine Self, Worth, and Purpose – Paul Selig

PAUL SELIG: “Here’s one for your favorites list. I thought this interview was going to be about channeling, and it turned out to be so much more. Paul Selig is the first channel I’ve interviewed, which is cool in itself. Yet even better, Paul channels wisdom from his guides 3 times during the interview. It’s a sight to see. But more importantly, Paul discusses the wisdom he’s channeled for his 3 books, which reveal (a) the structures that have set us up for fear, (b) how we can operate at a higher level in order to live with more love and less fear, and (c) how to fully tap into our divine self and live as self-realized beings, thereby reclaiming our divine self, worth, and purpose. Listening to Paul during this interview lifted my energy and made me feel more hopeful and empowered as a human being. What better compliment can I give him? I hope it does the same for you.” ~ Bob Olson, Afterlife TV

Paul Selig discusses channeling and the

What stands in the way of your worth? What have you created that would keep you from God? What have you attended to, believed, or agreed upon that would keep you from the love of your Creator? These are just a few of the questions that are posited and profoundly answered in Paul Selig’s new book, THE BOOK OF KNOWING AND WORTH (Tarcher/Penguin /$15.95 / January, 2014), a riveting culmination of Selig’s trilogy of channeled wisdom which includes the previous bestsellers I Am the Word and The Book of Love and Creation.

Recently featured in New York Magazine as one of New York City’s top clairvoyants, acclaimed author Paul Selig is rapidly becoming one of the most sought after spiritual teachers. Selig has been receiving “higher guidance” since a spiritual experience he had in 1987. Often referred to as the “reluctant psychic”, his book is transcribed from a series of readings he received from his “unseen” spirit guides.

Considered the most practical and significant channeled message yet THE BOOK OF KNOWING WORTH offers the most well-rounded spiritual psychology since the work of Edgar Cayce. Selig’s latest tome reveals that true understanding of our life’s purpose can be found through “service”—the practice of the thing that you most love. Readers can discover their own form of service through this powerful mantra: “I know who I am, I know what I am, I know how I serve.” Readers will discover and “claim” their unique life purpose through the benevolent wisdom and transformational insights from Selig’s spirit guides.

Paul Selig’s Bio: In his breakthrough works of channeled literature Paul Selig recorded an extraordinary program for personal and planetary evolution as humankind awakens to its own divine nature. I Am the Word, The Book of Love and Creation and his newest addition to the trilogy The Book of Knowing and Worth, are energetic transmissions that works directly on its readers to bring them into alignment with the frequency of the Word, which Paul’s guides call the energy of “God in Action.”

A New York City native, he received his Master’s Degree from Yale. Paul’s work now is as a clairaudient, clairvoyant, channel, and empath. Paul has led channeled energy groups for many years. He is the subject of the short documentary film Paul & the Word and was featured on the A&E/Biography channel series The UneXplained, as well as, on Coast to Coast AM with George Noory. Paul continues to teach workshops around the country including Esalen, Kripalu, Omega Institute and more. A noted playwright and educator, Paul serves on the faculty of NYU and directs the MFA in Creative Writing Program at Goddard College. He lives in New York City, where he maintains a private practice as an intuitive.

  3. Grace says:

Bob, I loved this video!! Again, you have another fantastic interview!! I continue to watch all your videos since my sister passed… her 2nd angel anniversary is coming up on the 3rd. The part of the video regarding grief is interesting as I’ve heard you can grief in a positive & quick way, as it’s a choice. But damn, that’s really hard. I don’t think I’ve let her death stop me from continuing on, as I do have lots of good days. However, when I think of her and how she’s not here, not able to converse with her and know what she’s thinking… that part is hard and is missed daily. I think missing her will be something I’ll endure for the rest of my life, but is that also grieving?

    • Bob Olson says:

      Hi Grace,

So sorry to learn about your sister’s passing. I think missing them is one of many aspects of grief, but you sound like you’re handling it just fine. Not that there’s any good or bad way to grieve. I think Paul’s guides were simply reminding us that our loved ones in spirit don’t want us to grieve for them any longer than necessary, and to certainly not prolong our grief in tribute or honor of them. I’m sure your sister is proud of you for continuing on and not letting her death stop you from living, even if it caused you to slow down or stall now and then. My very best wishes to you on February 3rd and always. Be gentle with yourself and surround yourself with love and support.

      • Grace says:

Thank you Bob for your kind words! I really appreciate it! Just know your work is important and helps many!! Keep it up!

  4. ian says:

    Hi Bob –

Glad to see Paul getting some well deserved attention – he’s definitely an interesting and unique voice in the “spiritual” space…..and adds a layer of eloquence and intellect – that many of us find is sorely lacking in the higher profile names in the field.

I think that if you look back historically at the most prolific psychics, mediums and folks who “channeled” energy and information – you’ll find that many had a quality of genuine curiosity – and even a healthy helping of self doubt about the origin of messages they bring forward (be they creative communcations like art or music or poetry – or in the form of the written Word like Paul) and personally, as someone who works with a lot of “spiritual guru’s” – I can tell you that a quality of introspective uncertainty is a breath of fresh air – and lends an air of authenticity and wonder to the work as well.

I’ve also had occasion to exchange a few emails with Paul personally on a professional basis – and can attest to the fact that he seems to be as genuine and humble and authentically kind behind the scenes….as he is when the camera is on. (another quality that is not only rare in this field – but far more telling than what is printed in a book 🙂

Kudos to you for exploring the outer edges a bit – there are many more interesting voices out there who have important ideas to share – I hope to see more stimulating stuff on your show!

    • Bob Olson says:

      Hi Ian,

Thank you for your wise comments. I wholeheartedly agree. Paul is simply a treasure.

      My warmest wishes to you,

  5. Flavia says:

    Hi Bob!
I ADORE Afterlife TV and wait with baited breath for each new video and rewatch many times as I walk my dog throught he Australian bushlands… but this one is not loading onto ITunes!! Help! We will have to leave you behind on this walk… hopefully it will have uploaded soon 🙂 Thanks for all the work you do… Cannot sing your praises enough.

    • Bob Olson says:

      Hi Flavia,

Well that’s really cool that you listen during your walks. I too listen to podcasts while walking my dog, although in the Maine forests (no bush lands around here). iTunes is a bit slow, but I just checked and it is now up. So thanks for your wonderful comment. Nice to learn that these interviews are being enjoyed across the world.

      Warm wishes to you,

  6. May Etchells says:

So wonderful, thank you very much for bringing Paul Selig into Afterlife TV. I’m so moved, you mentioned about the Divine order or things happening at the right time or when we are ready to know them, this sang to me. I wrote the sentences ‘I know Who I Am’, ‘I know What I Am’, and ‘I know How I serve’ I was compelled to write them 3 times hahahahaha, and now the forth time, but I digress. I felt shifting happening on my scalp and in my heart, this is great stuff and I’m expecting my copy of The Book of Knowing (and) Worth, very interesting way the title is presented, thought provoking, all of it is channeled methinks

    • Bob Olson says:

      Hi May,

I love your sense of humor. You always bring such a big smile to my face. Thanks for your comment. I really like what you wrote. I hope more people have that same experience.

      Keep smiling,

  7. Lynda says:

Deeply grateful to you Bob for doing this interview with Paul – what a great session, I was hanging on every word!! Will definitely read his books as so much of what he said resonated with me. When he said earlier in the interview “we’re showing you who you are” – there are no words to explain how I felt!! Wonderful. Thanks you for all you do Bob, it is so appreciated. I live in South Africa and access to this information is priceless. Keep shining your beautiful light!

    • Bob Olson says:

      Hi Lynda,

Wow, South Africa! I just replied to Australia, now this. Thank you for letting me know that this interviewed resonated with you in this way. Afterlife TV would not exist if not for people like you who watch it. I’m grateful to you.

  8. Michelle says:

Bob, thank you again so much for yet another amazing, uplifting interview! 🙂

I had heard of Paul Selig before but had never actually seen him interviewed and am so glad that you were so strongly impressed to do so. We really do make things a lot more complicated for ourselves than we need to. And it’s never more clearer to me than when we listen to the wise counsel of a clear, loving and articulate channel pointing this out to us.

I am very much looking forward to reading Paul’s books (and checking out his blogs and archived articles). Thank you again for all the many blessings and assistance you have provided to so many with the work that you do!

    Kindest regards,

    • Bob Olson says:

      Hi Michelle,

You know you are welcome. What you wrote puts it all into perspective. It really is so much simpler than many of us make it — at least simpler than I often make it. I too was taken by that message. The greatest teachers make it simple and remind us of who we truly are — bright, beautiful, divine beings. Thanks Michelle for taking the time to write your comment. It means a lot to me.

  9. Monique says:

    Hi Bob,

Another interview that blew me away! So very grateful for your channel, as I had never heard of Paul before. I am definitely ordering his books. Keep up your fantastic work!

    Kind regards from the Netherlands,

    • Bob Olson says:

      Hi Monique,

Thanks for telling me. I’m most grateful to you. I hope you are doing well there in the Netherlands.

  10. Gary says:

I just finished watching your interview with Paul and it was probably the quickest hour I spent watching any of your interviews. I was riveted from beginning to end. His books just went to the top of my reading list!

Paul was very personable and easy to listen to. I think I would have immensely enjoyed having him as a professor when I was in college.

I always look forward to that email from Afterlife TV announcing another interview. This one was a homerun! Thank you Bob.

    Warmest Regards,

    • Bob Olson says:

      Hi Gary,

Thanks. I’m glad you enjoyed what Paul had to say. He would have been a cool professor to have–I agree. Thanks for your comment. It means a lot.

  11. Diane says:

Love AfterLife TV! Thanks for doing what you do. Learn so much from each guest, including Paul.
    Thanks again.

    • Bob Olson says:

      HI Diane,

You are most welcome. I get so much from these interviews too that it lifts my spirit doing this. Hearing comments like yours just makes it all the better. Thank you.

  12. Arlene says:

    Greetings Bob,
A major change happened in November, 2012 (the passing of my oldest son). I have been struggling but have asked for guidance and assurance of what I have been doing and feeling. This video and books (along with the previous video) came within days of my asking. The first book has been my assurance, so far, and the next two will be my guidance. Thank you for all that you do and know that I was lead to you and your website first when my struggles and confusion began. Words can not express my gratitude at this time for all the help you have provided.

    • Bob Olson says:

      Hi Arlene,

I’m really sorry to learn about your son’s passing. That certainly is a major change. I’m glad you found Afterlife TV. A lot of people have expressed that these interviews and videos have been helpful to them in their time of grief. Be sure to check as many videos out on this site as possible. You’ll learn a great deal, and hopefully they will make you feel a little closer to your son. Thanks for your sweet comments. You’re very generous to write in spite of what you’re going through.

  13. Cindy says:

Bob: This was an excellent interview. I went to meetings on a course in miracles which was channeled when I was enlightened and wanted to know what happened to me. I’m Catholic so I never heard of awakening nor was I looking for anything. Its as if all my beliefs are being challenged I was shown that LOVE heals everything. I’m not skeptical, because I know the truth when I’m around it I can tell by the words people use and their manners. This was very interesting seeing him channel. I do agree he is the real deal. Since my own Enlightenment like him I had no idea what was happening its so wonderful to see people using their talents and feeling accepted. Gives me courage to do the same. I will get this book so I can step into my life purpose with courage and clarity. Its similar to what you do only I’m called to interview everyday people with extrodnary hearts. Thank you for inspiring me.

  14. Marla says:

Thank you Bob! I am not at all new to channeling and am very much a spiritual seeker of knowledge and understanding myself. This interview with Paul has got to be the best I’ve seen so far. He brings such a profound message and speaks it so clearly and enjoyably. I just ordered his book and am really looking forward to another interview with him.

Thank you for your site, Bob, you bring a lot of comfort during a challenging time.

Best Wishes to you – Marla

    • Bob Olson says:

      Hi Marla,

I’m happy you enjoyed it. He really is a wonderful and articulate communicator, and an overall nice guy. Thanks for your kind words. I wish you the best during this challenging time.

  15. Debbi says:

    Hi Bob,
Just wanted to tell you how intrigued I was with Paul. I’ve been reading The Book of Knowing and Worth, and I’ve felt a shift immediately. My mantra has become “I know who I am, I know what I am, I know how I serve”. Thank you for introducing us to this channeling through Paul. It has opened my eyes and heart. I look forward to more interviews of this nature. 🙂

    • Bob Olson says:

      Hi Debbi,

You are welcome. Paul was a pleasure to interview. If I can just learn to memorize that mantra without screwing it up.. I know who I am, I know what I am, I know how I serve. Thanks for your comment.

  16. Della Perkins says:

Vibration, connecting with the Earth and Universe, seeing ppls Auras, thoughts, etc… Thank you both. Very helpful. Della

  17. Lindy says:

I came upon this video quite by accident, but am very pleased I did. I’ve shared it with my Facebook friends and will continue to tune in.
Fantastic! And unique. I already feel so much better about life in general having this new awareness.
    Thank you for sharing.

    • Bob Olson says:

      Hi Lindy,

You’re most welcome. Thanks for your comment and for sharing.

  18. Terri says:

LOL, Bob, before I EVEN started to watch this interview, I decided I needed the books, and I wanted to have all three just so I could read them in the correct order. SO GLAD I DID. After watching this interview I can’t wait to get my hands on the books. Like you said, this was a really awesome interview. And having the channels come through makes me only want to check more of Paul out on you tube, bahaha. I have been watching you for some time now, have to say, this one was one of the tops! Thanks so much for doing this interview and now I have to copy and paste the link on my FB message, so I can listen to it all over again. SO MUCH GOOD STUFF to recycle over. Loved it Bob. LOVE IT PAUL…thank you Both for ALL you do to help Keep Us Aware!!

    Much Love,

    • Bob Olson says:

      Hi Terri,

That’s following your intuition. Yes, I really liked this interview too. Paul’s quite an amazing guy, and so normal. Thanks for sharing and good luck with those books!
