Roadmap to the Afterlife with Terri Daniel

TERRI DANIEL: “This special Afterlife TV episode is with Terri Daniel, afterlife awareness educator, author of Embracing Death, & founder of the Afterlife Conference. In this interview, Terri discusses how she turned her experience of losing her son, Danny, into a catalyst for greater awareness.

I ask Terri how she communicates with her son today, what the Interdimensional Postal Service is, why a brief life is not “lost potential,” how the relationship between ego & soul affects us, as well as the life-changing concepts of trust & surrender, and to explain her brilliant insight about the shift in consciousness we’re all feeling these days. If you like interviews that open your mind & make you think, this is a great one.” ~ Bob Olson, Afterlife TV

The 2016 Afterlife Conference, May 12 – 15, 2016, St. Louis, MO–The Science & Spirit of Death, Grief & Beyond: Dedicated to furthering death awareness, afterlife research, spiritual exploration, conscious dying and conscious grieving.   The Afterlife Conference is sponsored by The Afterlife Education Foundation (AEF), an organization that was founded in 2010, when a group of renowned spiritual teachers, afterlife researchers, psychics, and grief counselors recognized the need for a national conference on the afterlife.

EMBRACING DEATH examines common mythologies and misconceptions about death, and provides a roadmap to alternative perceptions via meditation, visualization and after-death communication. Using these innate, intuitive tools, Daniel leads her audience to new ways of understanding death, and offers innovative strategies for navigating the dying and grieving process.

Her inspiring, heart-opening vision of birth, death and the afterlife gently guides the reader into the higher realms, where death is experienced as neither an enemy nor an ending, but simply the continuation of life in another form. She begins this journey by exploring the fear-based beliefs about death that are the cornerstone of Judeo-Christian thinking, and then submits a compassionate array of more empowering, less frightening alternatives.

As a channeler, Daniel looks at death from the perspective of the dead and dying, and gives richly detailed descriptions of how the soul separates from the body and how the living can establish communication with that soul via meditation, visualization exercises, group processes and ritual practices.

Terri Daniel’s Bio: Terri is an ordained interfaith minister, a clinical chaplain and an intuitive counselor who assists dying and grieving individuals to discover a more spiritually spacious understanding of death and beyond.

Her unique perspective on birth, death and the journey of the soul helps the dying and the living find meaning and healing through meditative and ritual practices that open a conduit to other dimensions. Her unique form of “radical mysticism” incorporates elements of Buddhism, Shamanism, ancient pagan practices, gnostic Christianity and other spiritual traditions to break down limiting beliefs about forgiveness, divine judgment and negative experience. Terri replaces these beliefs with an empowering vision of a co-created universe where there are no victims or perpetrators, only souls seeking expansion and awareness.

Terri is the author of three books on death and the afterlife: A Swan in Heaven: Conversations Between Two WorldsEmbracing Death: A New Look at Grief, Gratitude and GodTurning the Corner on Grief Street: Loss and Trauma as a Journey to Awakening.

She is also the founder and president of the Afterlife Education Foundation and producer of the annual Afterlife Awareness Conference (see above).

Well, Bob, you’ve done it again. This is another fantastic interview. I am a member of Terry’s Afterlife FB page and it was delightful to see and hear Terry talking. She has a great depth of knowledge. I know that you; by now, realize how your own life events and occupations have led you to do what you do now. You gather and bring forth very important information for our spiritual journey and offer it to us freely on a plate. You are pretty much a “household” name among the spiritual community because you are “valued”. Thanks again !

    • Bob Olson says:

      Hi Janie,

You’re very kind. Nice to hear from you again. I agree; Terri’s wonderful.

  5. Linda Kuzyk says:

Bob Olson, I just love you and your show. I get so happy when I get the announcement that one is “happening.” I have learned so very much. This interview opened some more doors for my thinking mind to walk through. I thought that I had never encountered an “Ah-Ha” experience after having lost loved ones. Now I understand that the dream state has opened some of those doors for me.
My to-do list includes making meditation a priority.
    Thank you, Bob…a thousand times.

    • Bob Olson says:

      Hi Linda,

Happy to hear from you. That’s great news. You are welcome a thousand times.

  6. labelledominique says:

Wonderful interview again Bob, of one of my favorite people in the field. Thanks so much for sharing.

  7. Louise says:

This statement which you read (paraphrased below), is more valuable than Gold:

“Stop projecting and stop broadcasting fear … do not ask to be rescued … be with the fear … learn from it, walk through it to the new reality that awaits you. Surrender. Stop working so hard, just stop. Do not ask God to rescue you, to fix it. God is not Santa Claus. Ask only to see the Truth and Lesson in the situation and say it with Gratitude and Love. Stop and just Be exactly where you are.”

  8. Deb Starkweather says:

Terri – yes, we have “found” you, and “coincidentally” enough, through that very organization!

  9. Nooshin Natanzadeh says:

    Hi Bob,

Unbelievable timing for me to listen to this profound interview,as today was my downtime, feeling disconnected to the source and low energy thinking about the loss of my daughter.

I want to thank you dear Bob for bringing us, these incredible individuals like Terry to share their insights and experiences to help us grow and learn. I loved this interview very much and i got the comfort i needed today as well as learning new subjects. Can’t wait to read Terri’s book. You might not know just how many lives you are changing by bringing these awareness to people like me.

  13. Debbie says:

    Hello Bob,
How would I find AfterlifeTV under my St. Louis, MO cable listings or is it not available ? I do not enjoy watching these things on my PC; We are in the process of upgrading to a laptop that can stream through the a new smart TV, but that is in the future.

    • Bob Olson says:

      Hi Debbie,

I wish I had better news, but right now and are the only options. I recently began using my Macbook with an HDMI cable to my TV and was happily pleased with the results. Hopefully Afterlife TV will be on network TV or cable one day, although I do worry how that might alter the show. Thanks for caring enough to ask.

  14. C Martin says:

I really enjoyed this conversation – very informative! I also received a gift in the form of an huge “AHA” !

After my son passed away in 2009, I felt his presence on a very regular basis and I communicated with him, thanking him for being such a good son, etc. I often felt a ‘hug’ and a lot of caring from him. This went on for over 4 years and then – the presence sort of faded.away.

I felt fine without it, but was concerned that I hadn’t been focusing from my end for connecting – diligently enough.

But today, Terri’s explanation of the process of the departed soul – really helped me. Using her case as the example – she said that her son had stayed nearby for a while and then he went on to his other activities and she moved forward with the next stage of her life. THANK YOU

  15. Grace says:

    Hi Bob!

I’m listening to this interview for the 3rd time. 🙂 I just love it. I love all your interviews but this one, is great. Terri Daniel is so relatable and love hearing her talk.

You both mentioned Tibetan Book of the Dead – but when I search this on Amazon, there are so many titles – which one is the right one? I want to buy this one, plus Terri Daniel’s (I already have your book, autographed too!), but want to make sure I’m buying the right Tibetan Book of the Dead.

    • Bob Olson says:

      Hi Grace,

I’m happy to hear that this episode spoke to you. I’ve emailed Terri and will get back to you on the recommendation for that book. Or she’ll reply here herself. My best wishes to you.

  16. Terri Daniel says:

Thanks so much for your comment Janie! Nice to see you here!

  17. Terri Daniel says:

Thanks Bob, for posting that. I cant figure out why my reply didn’t go through, but the REPLY feature seems to be OK now.

  18. Terri Daniel says:

We ALL care Bob. Your show needs to be in prime time… nothing less.

  19. Grace says:

Thanks so much Bob & Terri – I ordered all my books!! ❤️

  20. Laurie says:

Thank you for the interview. I found this video as I was looking for more information about Rev. Terri Daniels since watching another recent interview with her. Thanks for your efforts in educating the public and best wishes for your role in the Afterlife Conference that is coming up.

  21. Linda Aragon says:

Just had to say thank you Bob for providing such a phenomenal program and opportunity for evolvement and growth of humanity. I am with you 1000% and just know that many of us are indeed grateful for your work. So THANK YOU!!!
    Linda Aragon

    • Bob Olson says:

      Hi Linda,

Thanks for your generous words. You have made my day.

  22. Patty says:

Bob, another great interview. I also notice through all of your interviews, you hear the answer to a question, spend a few seconds considering it, and asking the best ‘next’ question, that we all wanted to hear the answer for, but would never have thought of to ask. PERFECT Interviewer. I’m going to listen to this a few times, it’s got a lot of great info in it. You’re genuine, and very down to earth, and that makes for a great interview session. ~Patty

    • Bob Olson says:

      Hi Patty,

Wow, this interview is attracting really nice people who are writing me really nice compliments. Thank you so much. I appreciate you taking the time to write your generous message.

  23. Mary Reich says:

Hi Bob, Haven’t written before.Sorry! I think I’ve listened to every interview. Just when I don’t think you can get any deeper, bam! there you go! Phenomenal interview. One specific note: I have never heard the topic of Hitler addressed by anyone in the psychic/medium world. The courage to explain as she does amazed me! It leaves me with peace–until I forget and allow fear to enter again. Argh!
LOVE your book, running out of characters here, and love your new animated intro & sign-off!
    Mary R

    • Bob Olson says:

      Hi Mary,

I’m happy to hear that Terri’s explanation spoke to you in that way. Thanks for watching, for reading my book, and for writing this comment. Hope to hear from you again.

  24. Dan McFadden says:

Hi Bob, I’m a new listener and this interview was excellent. It supports and complements a higher level of consciousness I’ve discovered in my own experience (& synchronicities) with meditation and Richard Rohr’s perspectives after losing a spouse. Thanks for your efforts and thanks Terri.
    Regards, Dan

    • Bob Olson says:

      Thanks Dan,

I’m glad this interview resonated with you. My condolences regarding your loss. My best wishes to you.
