After-Death Communications From a Soldier Son

In this week’s bite-sized episode, Mary shares some amazing after-death communications from her son who was killed serving his country in Afghanistan. Not only did she receive signs, but her daughter also had some extraordinary experiences from her brother. You’ll love this story.

Melissa and I discuss Mary and her daughter’s experiences and explain what each of us can do to encourage signs from spirit — and certainly encourage more signs. We also discuss how personalities of those in spirit can affect messages. And Melissa shares how to know the difference between regular dreams and dream visitations from loved ones who have passed.

      Hi Ric,

You’ve been on my mind. Wish there was something I could do to ease your pain, but I know it’s a process. Love the t-shirt and photos of Kona. Thank you so much for sharing. What a strikingly handsome dog. Big hug to you.

      • Ric Perdue says:

        Thank you Bob, for everything!

I’ve shared what you did with people in my office and they think you’re wonderful (you are!) and it turns out my boss has a close friend who is wanting to be a medium full-time. Of course I mentioned you and that you test/certify mediums (not sure if you do this anymore), but if you do, i’ll email details.

Thanks again, sir; you’ve done more for me than you’ll ever know and I wish I could repay you accordingly..

        ever your friend from afar,

        Ric and Kona.

Bob,really enjoy your new format and congrats on the book. FYI my wife of 44yrs passed in 2006 and approx.3 months late I experienced my ADC which I thank her every day and never missed a day. Since that incident in the past 10 yrs Ive spent 1000s of hrs in a 12room short term hospice house. The ADC was so profound that its a daily thought several times a day. Iam not able to record but would appreciate the opportunity to send you my experience via e-mail and go into detail. Please respond TY!

    • Bob Olson says:

      Hi Fred,

Thank you for sharing this story. I’m so sorry your wife passed. I know that’s not why you wrote, but I can’t imagine how hard that is. That said, yes, what a gift that she contacted you three months later. Of course I’d love to hear the story. Email me via my assistant, Jen. Her email is [email protected]. I look forward to it. Best wishes to you, Fred.

Hello Bob & Melissa! Thank you again for having a place where people can share their Incredible CONNECTIONS to the other side! My Heart goes out to Mary & her daughter. This was so Beautiful in the midst of tragedy. I listened 2X & was so overwhelmed with emotion & yet so happy that her son was so strong with his signs. I am so sorry for their Loss. I believe in all their connections 100% Sending lots of positive Energy OX

    • Bob Olson says:

      Hi Ornella,

I thought you’d like Mary’s story. You’re so right, beautiful in the midst of tragedy. Thanks, dear one.

  4. john mchale says:

    Hi Bob,
My prayers go out to Mary for the loss of her son. I am glad that her son has contacted her. It must be a great comfort to her. As a small child way back in the late forties I have always been aware of spirits. Later in my working life I have seen as well as heard them.I still communicate with my dear wife who past away over four years ago. Love is the glue that binds us to our loved ones. They are with us always and will always find a way to contact us to let us know that life goes on.

    • Bob Olson says:

      Hi John,

Lovely words. I will make sure Mary becomes aware of them.

  5. Ray says:

Great experiences were shared and great comments —— thank you for the spiritual ‘pick me up’!

I really appreciated your comments about dreams. In the past I have been getting about 2 meaningful dreams each month with messages primarily. Then I read a book which talked about using dreams for much, much more and that getting and remembering dreams was very important in our ‘spiritual’ progress.

Based on some suggestions I remember many more now.

  6. Monique Cahoon says:

Mary I am so sorry for your loss, my heart goes out to you and your daughter! Obviously this a story of a son who loves and misses his mom and sister so much that he could not wait to come home and tell them that he was allright. Such a beautiful soul! Thank you for your service and sacrifice.
I cannot thank you enough Bob and Melissa for conforting so many of us out there with these beautiful stories! Keep them coming, we cannot get enough.

    • Bob Olson says:

      Thanks Monique,

I will make sure Mary is aware of your comment. And thank you again (I thanked you on Facebook) for the wonderful Amazon review of The Magic Mala.

  7. Mary Kennedy says:

Hi Bob, I love each and every story and have been connected to you for some time. I’ve learned so much with each sharing of their experience. I do miss “seeing” you and those who are sharing. Not a complaint at all 🙂 Thank you for all you do! It’s really nice Melissa has joined you!

    • Bob Olson says:

      Hi Mary,

Thanks so much. I understand about the “seeing” vs “hearing” thing. Maybe some day. I’ll pass that along to Melissa. Thanks again.

  8. loreen spechler says:

My deepest sympathy to Mary and her daughter and how his visitation has helped them get thru a difficult time.
I have had some visitation dreams and I know that it’s very visual and you never forget it.
There is a saying:–When you are born, the angels cry and your family rejoices. When you die, your family mourns and the angels rejoice.
Thanks again Bob for a great segment.

    • Jack Schwarz says:

Hi, Loreen. Just read “Dying to Wake Up” by Rajiv Parti, M.D. His book discusses how his Near Death Experience radically altered the trajectory of his life (not to mention his family’s). It’s a book about consciousness-based healing, and I think you’d find it extremely interesting.
